A design I finished this morning. Sort of a Sci-Fi, French-African Police Woman from the future. I'm in the process of doing a series of character designs based on French and African history, sort of a new France, if you will.

I dig the look, especially the "holographic" targeting sights on the guns!
However, you must also consider the practicality of the outfit if indeed she were "regular" police of sorts. If she were "special" police, like palace guard or something, maybe throw in a heavily ornamental weapon of sorts that is more show that practical. Maybe include a melee weapon like a baton or something as well, and be sure to include an insignia of sorts, probably on her belt.

Very cool ideas. This is the very first version, but in later versions to come I will be sure to incorporate your suggestions into the character. I'm still working my way up to the all out french-style weaponry and costume.
